Finally Activision revealed what next Call of Duty game is going to be like. This time they will go back to where they started: world war 2. Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are working on the the development of this title (these studios made Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare before). New game is named Call of Duty: WWII. Game will be available on November 3rd on PC (Steam platform).
As mentioned before, Call of Duty: WWII is going to take place in world war 2. Seems like the game is not going to have any Soviet campaign storyline and it will basically target American historical events, such as Normandy landing aka D Day. Developers mentioned the game is going to be more hardcore this time, no health regeneration like it was countless times in previous Call of Duty titles. Nazi zombie mode was also revieled as part of the game, however, it is not known yet how is it going to look like and if it will have any story interlacement with Treyarch zombies. Game will also have separate story for co-op walkthrough and devs are promissing new experience over this one. As per multiplayer – more information will be released during E3 show this summer.
Currently game is available to pre-purchase on Steam in Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. Pre-order gives an access to Beta though it is unknown when the Beta is going to start on PC.
